    Good

The only problem we had was our room was right over the kitchen and dining room,we could not ge sleeping at night we complained but it was always the same very noisy, also a lot of step s up to the hotel and the street leading up to it was very very very steep,we are cesior citizens and found it tough. defitenly not for our age group.

the climbimg to get up to it.

    Fabulous

All the staff were very friendly and helpful

The stairs, there is no lift and lots of stairs. Glaswegians think nothing of stairs, as there are lots of them in Glasgow, every where you go, but I am not as live in bungalow and my companion has difficulty walking so climbing 2 flights of stairs was done with difficulty. If stay again will make sure request downstairs room. would stay again and book downstairs room

    Very good

The location is excellent and the staff are very welcoming. The breakfast was fast and well cooked.

The hotel is slightly tired and needs some refurbishment. The bathroom especially needs this with cracked tiles and a overall sense of in need. I think that the hotel is trying very hard to be welcoming and a tourist attraction in itself, but it still has a lot of money to spend to meet its aims.

Good budget hotel. My one complaint was a bad smell in my room we could not get rid of. For that reason we would not stay there again because the management must have known about it.

    Superb

I had to leave early in the morning to catch a flight (before breakfast time). The staff reimbursed immidiately the cost of the breakfast. I liked most the location; i.e. to the Glasgow School of Arts

    Exceptional

Its close proximity to the gig event at a very reasonable price with breakfast if required was the main reason I choose this hotel. The staff were friendly and the room was perfect for our requirements with good shower facilities.

My only comment here would be the bathroom door in room 24 needs a little attention as it was difficult to open when shut, as it wedged a little in the door frame.

    Good

Good tv, fresh towels each day

The room was tired with peeling wall paper and carpet coming away from the edges. In the evenings the shower took 10 minutes to get hot.

    Exceptional

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It is in a central location. Shame about the hill to climb from the bus station - an escalator up the hill would be nice!
